Seattle World School: Sounds from Home 2017
In the spring of 2017, students from Bill Butler’s Technology class at Seattle World School created short audio pieces about sounds that remind them of home.
First, students worked in the classroom with Jack Straw teaching artists, including writer/producer Kyle Norris, to learn about radio writing and production and to write short pieces about their favorite sounds. Then they visited the Jack Straw studios and worked with our engineers and teaching artists to record their voices and sound effects and create their finished audio pieces.
