Jack Straw began working with the dual language seventh grade students  in Cassandra García-Stokes’s class at Chinook Middle School in SeaTac in the 2022-23 school year, following our two years of projects with Cassandra and her students at Mercer International Middle School in Seattle. Students work with Jack Straw’s professional writer Raúl Sánchez, and Jack Straw vocal coaches and engineers to write, record, and publish their own original poems.
