Programs for Composers

Jack Straw has been hosting composers from various musical backgrounds to create and debut original work since 1998, either through our artist support program or in collaboration with local and national programs such as Music in Motion and Meet the Composer. Over the years our resident composers created work through Jack Straw’s programs that went on to be presented and performed on national and global platforms.

We are always on the lookout for opportunities, partnerships and projects to support established and emerging composers explore the creative use of sound in a professional atmosphere through residencies in our recording studios and participation in our various presentation programs.
