D BUTTERFLY EFEKT is an immersive experience where sound and visuals blend together to create virtual worlds. Visitors explore virtual and augmented spaces, where the music becomes a spatial experience that users can walk through.

The exhibit operates much like a videogame where users can choose which environments to explore and which characters they want to be via series of game modes. Conceptually, the various sounds and environments explore themes of choice and agency. Different events shape us but ultimately our response to them chooses who we’ll become. Choose wisely, & remember being a hero can be overrated and villains have more fun!
