Keeping Art, Culture, and Heritage Vital from a Distance
Blind Youth: Telling Your Story: After 23 years working with blind and visually impaired youth in our studios every summer, this week we started our first online program for blind and visually impaired high school students. Working with a team of ten Jack Straw artists, teens are creating original radio theater and music projects. We look forward to sharing their work with you!
Seattle World School Virtual Guitar: Jack Straw Artist Bill Horist is leading weekly one-on-one guitar lessons via Zoom with our students at Seattle World School.
Social Media Poetry and more: We are always looking for new ways to share important voices of all ages. Join us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, where every Monday and Friday we’re sharing a poem from one of our youth programs. Every Wednesday, we’re sharing work from our Jack Straw Writers.
