In this podcast, a preview of the upcoming 2007 Jack Straw Reading Series, find out which writer was inspired to pursue a literary career because of a childhood nightmare about an incident at Kmart. The podcast features snippets of in-studio readings by writers Molly Tenenbaum, Corrina Wycoff, Doug Nufer, Cheryl Strayed, and Charles Potts, and from their interviews with curator Matt Briggs.

All of the writers heard in this series are published in the Jack Straw Writers Anthology, and featured online at www.jackstraw.org.
