Justin Mata
Justin Mata is a curator and a visual artist working in painting, installation and video. He received his BFA from California College of the Arts in San Francisco and his MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York. His works have been shown at NURTUREart (Brooklyn), El Museo del Barrio (New York), Center on Contemporary Art (Seattle) and ArtXChange Gallery (Seattle). He is a GAP Grant recipient from the Artist Trust (Seattle), Artist Support recipient from Jack Straw (Seattle) and a member of the Artist Trust, New York chapter. He is also the curator for the Rare Medium collective in Capitol Hill.
