Jack Straw is thrilled to invite you back into our studios to celebrate our Artist Support Program artists and their work. Limited seating available in studio; audiences will also be able to visit our New Media Gallery or watch the performers on a screen in our front space.
Abut the artists and their Artist Support Program projects:
arx duo is recording newly-commissioned works for marimba and vibraphone. Singer-songwriter Tekla Waterfield is currently celebrating the release of her album New Skies, produced through the Artist Support Program. Multi-instrumentalist Benjamin Hunter is producing a collection of his original music composed in conjunction with Dani Tirrell’s dance piece Black Bois. Poet and performer Ebo Barton is recording an audio version of their book Insubordinate. Guitar/bass duo EarthtoneSkytone and heavy rock band Atrocity Girl are both entering the studio this fall to record their original songs.
